Advanced calculation models and long experience of racing are necessary for the product development of hulls and new technology.  We work together with technology collages  and  external specialists in naval technology and renewable energy.  Together with, amongst others, the US Navy  we have co-operations on how different hull shapes are affected by the water at high speeds.
The first boat we won the world championship with is a good example of what you can achieve if you are curious about scientific progress.  Based on tests in wind tunnels and hydrodynamic research we could increase stability and thus safety.  It meant that our boat could maintain higher speeds in critical situations.  Such technical advancement  we can then apply to standard boats, where safety is just as important as performance and fuel economy. With our own experience from the racing circuit we can also develop very energy efficient pleasure crafts for serial production.
